1. Introduction
   The purpose of the Origin_75 program, a beta testing program for the smart ring product of Taika Tech Oy, is to conduct functional testing, gather feedback from users, improve the technology, and provide a first-hand experience to consumer electronics development for the participants.
   Participants will receive a beta version and the consumer version of the Taika Ring. Total cost of participation in the program is 499€.
2. Eligibility
   Participants must be of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract as per the laws of their respective countries. A background in technology is essential for participation. This includes familiarity with consumer electronics and an understanding of what a beta-phase product entails.
   Taika Tech Oy reserves the right to select participants based on their application and relevant background. Selection is at our sole discretion.
   Participants selected for the Origin-75 program will be notified via email, which will include an order link.
   Being chosen and receiving the order link does not obligate participants to place an order for the product.
3. Product and beta phase
   The Taika Ring is a wearable, battery-powered electronic device designed to control external electronic devices via wireless communication.
   We want to make it clear that the Taika Ring is currently in its beta phase. This phase is crucial for functional testing and evaluation of the product. Being in beta phase means that you may encounter bugs or experience incomplete features. These are normal and expected aspects of a product in this stage of development.
   Participants of the Origin_75 program will receive the commercial version of Taika Ring when it is launched.
4. Feedback and reporting
   As a vital part of the Origin-75 program, participants agree to provide feedback about their experience with the Taika Ring. This can be done through one of two methods:
   a) Completing an online survey provided by Taika Tech Oy.
   b) Participating in an interview conducted by one of the founders of Taika Tech Oy.
   Participants are encouraged to report any bugs or issues they encounter during the use of the Taika Ring, and while this is based on goodwill, it is greatly appreciated, as it directly contributes to the enhancement of the product.
5. Terms of use
   Participants are expected to handle the Taika Ring with care, as they would with any electronic device. It should not be intentionally damaged, cut, or pierced.
   Follow all standard safety guidelines for electronic devices, such as avoiding exposure to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods. The Taika Ring is designed for controlling external electronic devices. It should be used responsibly and in accordance with its intended purpose and local law. Alteration of the device is not permitted. Taika Tech Oy takes no liability for any unlawful use of the product by the participants.
6. Risks and disclaimers
   Participants acknowledge the potential risks associated with using a beta product. As the Taika Ring is in its beta phase, it may exhibit bugs, incomplete features, and other unpredictable behaviors typical of beta-stage technology.
   No Warranty: Taika Ring is provided "as-is" without any warranties, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
   However, if the Taika Ring is delivered in a non-functional condition, participants are eligible to receive a replacement unit, provided the original is returned to Taika Tech Oy according to our return procedures.
   Limitation of Liability: Taika Tech Oy's liability in connection with the Taika Ring and the Origin-75 program is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law. Taika Tech Oy shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Taika Ring.
7. Data Privacy and Security
   All personal data collected through feedback or issue reporting will be handled in strict accordance with data protection regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security. Taika Tech Oy is committed to protecting your privacy and will use the information provided solely for the purpose of improving the Taika Ring and its user experience.
8. Termination and return policy
   Participants in the Origin-75 program have the option to return the beta version of Taika Ring within a 30-day period from the date of receipt of the product. To initiate a return, participants must contact Taika Tech Oy using the provided contact details and follow the return instructions. Upon successful return of the product in its original condition, participants will be eligible for a full refund of the program fee. Shipping costs are not covered in the refund. Returning the product voids this agreement. Returning the product voids the right to a free consumer version of Taika Ring.
   This return policy is designed to provide participants with peace of mind and confidence in their involvement in the Origin-75 program.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
   The terms and conditions of the Origin-75 program, including this agreement, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland.
   Any disputes or legal issues arising in connection with the Origin-75 program will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of Finland.
